Dr. Munkaila Abdulai is an accomplished academic, entrepreneur, and leadership consultant with a distinguished career in education, consultancy, and business management. He currently serves as a lecturer in the Department of Business Administration. He holds key leadership roles as Board Chairman of Medimafo Group (Time-Daso) of companies and the Executive Director of Kgrape-Africa Institute, Consulting Director for Accra Metropolitan University, and Managing Director of Haleys Catering Services.

 

Dr. Abdulai has provided extensive executive capacity-building and consultancy services to numerous organizations, including the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), National Identification Authority, National Petroleum Authority, Ghana Ports and Harbour Authority, Medimafo Herbal Hospital, Data Protection Commission, and the Public Utility and Regulatory Commission. His work emphasizes strategic leadership and strategic planning. Previously, Dr. Abdulai served as the Coordinator for International Education and Projects and the Coordinator for the Masters in Total Quality Management Programme at the School of Graduate Studies, University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). His dedication to advocacy and human empowerment is evident in his role as the President of the Consumer Advocacy Centre (CAC), Ghana, an affiliate of Consumers International, where he champions consumer rights across the African sub-region.

 

Dr. Abdulai’s holds a PhD in Business Management with a specialization in Strategy and Innovation from Capella University, USA. He also holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Leadership and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from UPSA. Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Abdulai is deeply committed to service and collective learning, viewing these as his ultimate life goals. He is happily married and blessed with four wonderful children, balancing a fulfilling family life with his professional achievements
